Another from our misty Sunday afternoon stroll in Cranborne Chase for today’s upload…

Mist adds an interesting atmosphere to the landscape. Here it shrouds and hides away the rolling landscape of the Chase that should be fading into the distance, but this veil adds a sense of mystery to the view and makes the eye focus on the shape and form of the curves in field, the straight lines of the field boundaries and stark forms of the bare oak trees.

There is something calming in the simplicity of the scene that sums up the stress-release that this fabulous walk gave us.
