Time to head inland and into the South Downs National Park. Fitting really that my last post before Christmas should be a sunset. I’m sure we’ll all be glad to see the sun set on this disaster of a year…

When I view a sunset, I am always filled with mixed emotions: sadness at the end of another day, especially when it has been a day of exploration and experience, but also a sense of hope of a better day to follow. This fiery sunset over the grounds of Cowdray Park near Midhurst was spectacular and full of hope. It was a privilege to watch and an honour to capture.

Here’s to many, brighter sunsets in 2021. See you on the other side of the Christmas binge!
