It’s easy to forget that Snowdonia is home to some real mountain-y looking mountains and was in many ways the birthplace of mountaineering as we know it today. The peaks of this National Park are some of the most challenging you will find on our little island, but viewed from a lower level can be absolutely stunning.
This is Carnedd Moel Siabod, only 872m high but oh so perfectly formed, seen here from the hills to the north of Capel Curig, itself the spiritual home of British mountaineering…
