Another day, another fine Summer evening extended sunset… this time featuring another of our local mountains…

Ben Hee stands proud above the hillside to the northwest of us overlooking Loch Merkland, further up the valley system that contains Loch Shin. In blue hour silhouette, with the fringe of spruce plantation in front of it and under such a spectacular sky, it looks decidedly mountainesque, with its pyramidal peak pointing skywards and sloping shoulder ridge line drooping off to the east.
